Asghar Mazari
Asghar has been a much loved and well-known member of the lower North Shore
community for over 2 decades. Asghar has an MBA and a Diploma in Children Services. As a
father of 4 girls, who has also raised and schooled his children locally, he understands how
important it is for families to find a childcare that can cater to the needs of each child that is
inclusive and unique.
Caring and educating children is his passion as they are the future of this great country and
by doing this, he feels he is giving back to the community. This was the core reason, how he
founded AFDC (Artarmon Family Day Care) in 2013 with the goal of providing high quality
education and care to preschool age children. In 2015 he formed a FDC Service (Scheme) to
provide FDC services across Sydney. As a result of his eye for detail and commitment to
excellence, AFDC rapidly became the most sought-after Service for educators to join.
Currently, AFDC is providing services in over 25 suburbs across Sydney and is continuing to
grow.
His day-to-day involvement in planning and implementation is key to his flawless service
history. He invests a lot of time ensuring the educators he engages are like-minded and
share the same teaching philosophies. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his
girls and looking after roses in his garden.
Suzie is truly passionate about early childhood education and strives to support children in
reaching their full potential as a unique individual. Suzie’s caring and bubbly personality has
always been the key to strong partnership with educators, families, and communities. Suzie
has profound interest in establishing personalised care-giving environment where each child
feels supported. Her dedication and passion have thrived the consistent improvement of
quality education and care for over 300 children in 25 suburbs and counting…
Suzie has Diploma in Children’s Education and Care, and currently studying her master’s
degree in teaching for birth to 12 aged children. Suzie’s passion in early childhood education
has extended to training the outstanding educators across Sydney in the management of
Artarmon Family Day Care Service.
Suzie strives to ensure Artarmon Family Day Care delivers the optimal support for educators
to implement quality education and care for children in their setting.
Suzie Kim
Young Kim
Young is a passionate coordinator. She endeavours to support educators in ensuring they
understand their obligations under law and are compliant with regulatory requirements.
Young has a diploma in children services with over a decade of administration experience in family
day care sector. She has a very kind personality and is only too happy to assist- be it educators,
families, or colleagues. She is the backbone of administration in our coordination unit.
In her free time, Young enjoys cooking traditional foods and making floral bouquets.
